Dragon Magic 101
A DRAGON MAGIC WARNING!
Before working with Dragons we must understand it’s a path of immense power, but with strict spiritual protocol. The Draconic Current does not tolerate carelessness. Those who seek to walk alongside dragons must understand the rules of sacred conduct, not out of fear, but out of honor, safety, and spiritual integrity.
Spiritual Protection
A Winner’s Mindset
If you do not have a confidant mindset then do not yet work with Dragons. They will mop the floor with you and you will need extensive time to recover. Dragon Witches progress slowly compared to other witches so please do be careful to take your time on The Draconic Path and with Draconianism.
Cleansing Your Space
Before any spirit work it is typical to burn an incense, resin or herb of some kind to clear your space of all unwanted energies. You can also cleanse your space with water sprays, sound like clapping or singing.
Sacred Protection
Any practitioner opening themselves to dragon spirits must first secure their space. Protection wards are mandatory, not optional. While trickster entities may attempt to interfere, dragon energy cannot be convincingly mimicked for its resonance is unmistakable to those attuned. Even so, one must remain vigilant. Not all who appear as allies are aligned with the Draconic Current.
Dragon Etiquette
Dragons are ancient intelligences. They do not respond well to disrespect, entitlement, or summoning. If offense is given unintentionally, a sincere apology and corrective action are usually accepted. However, there is one absolute law: never reveal a dragon’s true name without explicit permission. To know the name of a dragon is to hold a key to its presence. Such trust must be guarded with reverence, secrecy, and loyalty.
The Weight of Dragon Power
Dragons do not interpret requests like humans do for they command elemental force without hesitation. When asked for assistance, they may respond in fierce ways. A casual wish for someone to “leave you alone” may be answered with a fire, a collapse, or a dramatic removal. This is not cruelty; it is raw manifestation through Dragon Force.
Dragon Slayer Gods & The Dragons
Certain mythic figures such as Thor, Hercules, and Apollo, some believe to carry archetypal currents that directly conflict with draconic frequencies. While this is mostly a common misconception stemming from colonization it is ultimately best to consult your spirit team for final decisions in these matters. Some Dragons hate Slayers and other times they don’t care.
